Park Planning and Development
The long term development of the Town's neighbourhood, community & town parks and recreational trail system is an ongoing process that is performed in consultation with the community, with a focus on creating opportunities for active living, organized sports, passive recreation, waterfront access and environmental stewardship.

Parks and Open Space Master Plan
The Town of Fort Erie is planning for the future of its parks, trails and open spaces.
With a projected population growth of 32% over the next 20 years, the Parks and Open Space Master Plan will provide a long range and comprehensive strategy to assist with meeting the needs of current and future populations, and assist Council in making strategic investments to ensure a healthy community, improve the quality of life of residents, and encourage a sustainable environment.

Crystal Ridge Park Master Plan
Phase 1 improvements to Crystal Ridge Park are now open to the public. Phase 1 included construction of an open air pavilion, a senior playground, a junior playground, a tennis/pickelball court, a multi-use court for basketball and ball hockey, and a toboggan hill. Benches will provide ample seating. The construction of Phase 2 improvements, including a 4 court pickelball facility and two dog parks, will commence in 2020. Funding has been allocated to install a playground in Beaver Creek Park in 2020. A public open house was held on Thursday February 13, 2020 at the Crystal Ridge Library, to review proposals for the new playground. Visit the Beaver Creek Park webpage for more information.
The playground equipment in Stevensville Mini Park is planned for replacement in 2020. A public open house was held on Tuesday February 11, 2020 in Stevensville, to review proposals for the playground replacement. Visit the Stevensville Mini Park webpage for more information.
Albert Street Park has been identified for improvement and upgrades, so the park will better serve the needs of the community. Click above for more information.

Freedom Park Project
