Annual Sanitary Sewer CCTV
Annual Sanitary Sewer System CCTV & Maintenance Hole Inspection Program
(Contract ISE-19P-SANCTV)
This contract will inspect 16% of the Town’s sanitary sewer system. The project contractor will flush and complete CCTV inspections and assessment of 30,470 metres of the Town's sanitary sewer and complete 372 detailed maintenance hole inspections and assessments.
Results of the inspections are to be provided in detailed reports, helping us to identify deficiencies in our sanitary sewer system and their locations. This information will later be integrated into the Town's Geographical Information System (GIS). In addition to informing the Asset Management Plan, the condition data will also be used to scope and design future trenchless rehabilitation work, and for planning wastewater collection system capital projects.
Budget: $205,000, of which $50,000 is from the Ontario Municipal Modernization grant.
Construction Timeline:
The work began at the end of March 2020 and is expected to last for 9 weeks; until the end of May 2020. Please note that this timeline is subject to change as the Town continues to monitor and address the current COVID-19 situation.
