Beaver Creek Park
The Beaver Creek subdivision is located on Gorham Road, at the west end of Hazel Street. A neighborhood park has been constructed at the north end of the new subdivision, and is to include a playground.
Fort Erie playgrounds are designed in consultation with the local community through a “Dot-mocracy” process, whereby playground users participate in identifying their favourite playground features. Playground designs are also reviewed by the Fort Erie Accessibility Advisory Committee, to ensure inclusivity and accessibility, and compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act. A Public Open House to review proposals for the new playground occurred on Thursday February 13, 2020 at the Crystal Ridge Library. Playground installation is scheduled for November 2020.
