Park Planning and Development
The long term development of the Town's neighbourhood, community & town parks and recreational trail system is an ongoing process that is performed in consultation with the community, with a focus on creating opportunities for active living, organized sports, passive recreation, waterfront access and environmental stewardship.

Parks and Open Space Master Plan
The Town of Fort Erie is planning for the future of its parks, trails and open spaces.
With a projected population growth of 32% over the next 20 years, the Parks and Open Space Master Plan will provide a long range and comprehensive strategy to assist with meeting the needs of current and future populations, and assist Council in making strategic investments to ensure a healthy community, improve the quality of life of residents, and encourage a sustainable environment.

Crystal Ridge Park Master Plan
Phase 2 improvements to Crystal Ridge Park are now open to the public. Phase 2 improvements include a 4 court pickleball facility and shade structure, two dogs parks, and a new parking lot off Rebstock Road. Click on the above image for more information.
Spears Park is a new park that in the Spears Estates subdivision that opened to the public on June 27, 2022. Please visit the Spears Park webpage for more information.
Albert Street Park Master Plan
Albert Street Park has been identified for improvement and upgrades, so the park will better serve the needs of the community. Click above for more information.

Freedom Park Project
