Junior Firefighter Program

With support from our community partners, we are privileged to run Junior Firefighter day camps for kids aged 10 to 12 years old.

Participants learn about the different organizations responsible for fire, rescue, and emergency medical response. The program operates in a safe, controlled, educational, and fun way.

Some of the benefits of a Junior Firefighter Program include the following:

• Assisting youth to gain insight and interest in becoming long-term members of emergency services.
• Increasing awareness among youth about volunteering and supporting fire and emergency services.
• Leadership development for Fort Erie youths who are tomorrow's leaders.
• Learning life skills and meeting other like-minded youths.
• Self-respect and respect for others.
