COVID-19 UPDATE | Bay Beach (also known as Crystal Beach) is closed to anyone without a Fort Erie resident season pass. Fort Erie resident season passes for Bay Beach in 2020 are available to Fort Erie residents, Fort Erie taxpayers and Fort Erie short-term rental operators only.

Due to COVID-19, the following operational changes have been put into place temporarily for Bay Beach (also known as Crystal Beach):
- Paid parking is available at the municipal parking lot at Erie Road and Eastwood Avenue, between May 1 and September 30.
- The parking fee is $4 per hour, or a flat rate of $15 per car from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Parking is not permitted from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m.
- Metered parking will be enforced from Victoria Day through Labour Day. The rate of meter parking is $2 per hour or a flat fee of $10 for the day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Residents of the Crystal Beach neighbourhood who do not have space for a driveway are eligible for a Bay Beach Resident Parking Pass. These passes are vehicle specific and non-transferable.
On-Street Parking Season Pass
This summer, the Town is introducing a Season Pass for paid on-street parking at Bay Beach for the upcoming summer beach season. These passes will be available for $50 (taxes included).
In order to purchase a $50 on-street parking pass for this summer, patrons can access these passes by filling out the online form and paying by Mastercard/VISA. The form will give you an option for pick up or mailing the passes out. Anyone can purchase up to 50 of these passes at one time. Passes are not specific to a license plate/car/person.
The municipal parking lots as well as the on-street parking areas will also have pay and display machines for daily / hourly paid parking passes. Credit or cash is accepted at these terminals.
Residents who were eligible for the free parking passes due to their property circumstances will be mailed their passes shortly. This year, there will not be a need to reapply. Residents will be receiving communications prior to June 18th regarding plates numbers and mailing addresses.
The following streets were removed from the paid parking perimeter. If you received free passes last year, and your residence is on one of the following streets, passes will not be issued this year.
- Cherry Hill Blvd
- Rosewood Avenue
- Lakewood Avenue
