Community Initiated Park Improvement Projects

Community organizations play a vital role in the development of Town Parks. Many have contributed funds or equipment, to both parkland development and existing park improvements. Examples include the Fire Station 6/Crystal Beach Fire Fighters Association’s construction of the Colonel Albert Storm playground, the Stevensville Kinettes ongoing contributions to local playgrounds and parks, and the Greater Fort Erie Soccer Club contribution to Optimist Park.

Is your organization interested in undertaking a park improvement?  Please review the Volunteer Policy and submit an Application Form.

If your project has a heritage component to it, such as a heritage plaque, sign, monument, mural, multi-media piece, and artifact, it will considered relative to the Town of Fort Erie Guidelines for the Installation of Interpretive Pieces on Municipal Property.
