Corporate Asset Management

The Town of Fort Erie has approximately $1B in core assets & facilities. All assets have a useful service life and it is vital that these assets are managed carefully in order to maintain the required level of service in the most cost-effective manner. It takes a coordinated effort to manage our assets by the following Departments:

The Corporate Asset Management Plan (CAM Plan) provides a framework to a tactical and strategic plan for managing our infrastructure and other assets. It is a “coordinated activity of an organization to realize value from its assets” – ISO 55000

This Plan:

• Outlines the Town's Level of Service Framework and demonstrates our commitment to continually improve it.
• Demonstrates the Town's commitment to guide corporate decision making related to the life cycle of our infrastructure assets.
• Demonstrates responsible management of the Town's assets.
• Outlines justification of our Funding requirements.
• Demonstrates the Town's commitment to maintain our assets in compliance with regulations.
