By Law 25-2015 Gaming Policy for the Town of Fort Erie (Being a By-Law to Amend By-Law No. 185-2000)

Purpose:

• To manage on behalf of the Municipal Council all aspects of the gaming licencing function including the application process, the allocation of net lottery funds, enforcement and compliance as it relates to use of proceeds.
• Development of strategies for the use of net lottery revenue in creating and sustaining a strong and diverse community.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To administer the Gaming Policy of the Town of Fort Erie.
• Provide gaming advice to Council.
• Good representation from the public with a variety of required skill sets.

Meeting Schedule:

Meet 4th Wednesday of every month – 4:00 p.m. Conference Room # 1

Composition:

8 citizen appointees and 1 Member of Council.
