Park Planning and Development

The long-term development of the Town's neighbourhood and community parks and recreational trail system is an ongoing process focusing on creating opportunities for active living, organized sports, passive recreation, waterfront access and environmental stewardship.

The Town of Fort Erie is planning its parks, trails and open spaces for the future.

With a projected population growth of 32% over the next 20 years, the Parks and Open Space Master Plan will provide a long-range and comprehensive strategy. The plan will assist with meeting the needs of current and future populations. It will also help Town Council make strategic investments to ensure a healthy community, improve residents' quality of life, and encourage a sustainable environment.

We invite you to participate in this process by attending the Public Open Houses and emailing us your comments.
