The Town of Fort Erie Cemetery Services is committed to delivering professional, compassionate, and respectful service to families, funeral service providers, and the community.
We recognize that cemetery services are provided during some of life’s most difficult moments. Our staff are dedicated to:

Cemetery Locations:
The Town of Fort Erie operates three active cemeteries:
Greenwood Cemetery
1900 Thompson Road, Fort Erie, Ontario. Located east side of Thompson Road south of the Canadian National Railway and Bowen Road intersection.
McAffee Cemetery
2600 & 2601 Thompson Road, Fort Erie, Ontario. Located on the east and west sides of Thompson Road south of Niagara Boulevard.
Ridgeway Memorial Cemetery
3900 Farr Avenue, Fort Erie, Ontario. Located southwest corner of the intersection of Ridgeway Road and Farr Avenue.
The Town is also responsible for maintaining 15 inactive cemeteries (burials no longer occur in these cemeteries). In addition, we have eleven (11) Columbarium’s, five (5) in Greenwood Cemetery and two (2) in Ridgeway Memorial Cemetery. The columbaria offer an alternative to the traditional in-ground burial of cremated remains.
The burial process can be started by completing our Interment Request Form:
This form is completed by a funeral home or an individual family member entrusted with the cremated remains.
