Annual and Quarterly Financial Reports

Annual Financial Report:

The 2023 Annual Financial Report provides an overview of the Town's financial position and operating results for the year. It includes the consolidated financial statements in Schedule “1”.

The consolidated financial statements combine the operations of:

• the Town
• the Fort Erie Library Board
• the Community Gaming Development Corporation
• the Town's three Business Improvement Areas

The consolidated financial statements have been prepared by management per Canadian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles established by the Public Sector Accounting Board (PSAB) of Chartered Professional Accountants Canada.

Quarterly Financial Report:

Budget policy requires operating budget variance analysis to be reported to Council as of June 30, September 30 and December 31. Capital variances are reported for information purposes with the June 30 report.
