Community Tree Giveaway

As part of its ongoing Tree Replanting Program, the Town of Fort Erie is pleased to offer a free Community Tree Giveaway for residents.

A total of 800 two‑gallon trees will be available, with residents able to choose one (1) tree per household from the following species:

• White Spruce
• Redbud
• Sugar Maple
• Tulip Tree

Event Details

Date: Saturday, April 18, 2026 (rain or shine)
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (or while supplies last)
Location: Fort Erie Leisureplex Parking Lot
3 Municipal Centre Drive, Fort Erie

Expert Advice On‑Site

Town Arborists and knowledgeable community volunteers will be on site to answer questions and provide guidance on tree selection, planting, and care.

Community Support

A voluntary donation of non‑perishable food items will be accepted in support of COPE (Community Outreach Program Erie).
