Baseball Diamonds:

The Town of Fort Erie maintains two (2) main baseball complexes great for league play. We also have a variety of grassed fields appropriate for practices and informal play.

Oakes Park (1447 Sharon Drive) is the primary baseball complex in Fort Erie. Oakes Park offers five (5) clay-skinned infield baseball diamonds that range in size suitable for:

  • T-Ball
  • Softball
  • Pee-Wee
  • Senior Division Baseball

United Empire Loyalist Park (2700 Ott Road) in Stevensville offers two softball diamonds. 

Many parks in Fort Erie have baseball backstops with grassed play areas. These informal areas are not lined or fitted with bases. Instead, they provide ideal opportunities for casual play of varied ages and abilities, batting practice or local pick-up games. Locations include:

  • A.C. Douglas Park - 3455 River Trail Crescent
  • Bill Connolly Field - 2973 Hyman Avenue
  • Douglas Park - 207 Bertie Street
  • Energy Field - 970 Baron Drive
  • Ridgeway Lions Park - Elm Street
  • Albert Street Park - 56 Albert Street
  • Bowen Road Park - 761 Niagara Parkway

Soccer Fields:

The Town of Fort Erie maintains two (2) main soccer complexes appropriate for league play and a variety of unlined fields appropriate for practices or informal play.

Ferndale (Bertie Centennial) Park (865 Ferndale Road) offers two (2) senior, one (1) intermediate, (2) junior, and (6) mini-sized soccer pitches.

Optimist Youth Park (1555 Gilmore Road) is the second main soccer complex. Optimist Youth Park offers two (2) senior and two (2) junior-sized soccer pitches.

Football Fields:

The football field at Crystal Ridge Park is open and available for community use.

Multi-use Courts:

A variety of courts are located throughout Fort Erie's parks, providing opportunities for residents and visitors to enjoy tennis, pickleball, basketball, ball hockey, and other recreational activities. These are vailable on a first-come-first-served basis.

Tennis Courts:

The Town's premium tennis facility the Fort Erie Tennis Courts, located at 353 Central Avenue, serves as a hub for tennis in Fort Erie, offering public play, lessons, programs, and seasonal memberships. Visit Fort Erie Tennis Courts for more information on this facility.
